The new TR2 has the Thrust core found in the TX1.The cover is the new MOTIVat-R reactive, which comes 800 wet sanded, and you can really fell the difference of the cover compared to the other MOTIV covers. The TX1 was Cobalt Blue, the TR2 is Deep Blue with Neon Yellow logo. The TR2 is for heavy oil.I bowl on the cheetah pattern tonight and I am going to throw it for the heck of it to see how much it hooks compared to my other MOTIV equipment.I have had great success on the cheetah pattern with the SX1 with the out of the box surface.I will keep everyone updated.

WOW! used the TR2 during practice last night on the cheetah pattern,on synthetic lanes.First shot over the three board ,ball on the seven pin.Next shot with another TR2 shot over three board, ball on the four-seven.Picked up my SX1, ball over four board flush into the pocket. Both TR2's were 800 grit, which is what they come out of the box at,the SX1 cover was at 1200.I must say this is the biggest hooking ball by MOTIV and the earliest rolling.I still have to use these balls during practice and on a house shot this weekend before I can write a full review. But I can say this ball hooks as much as anything I have thrown.

I'm going to use it Sunday in practice on a fresh house shoot and a broken down house shot. Also Wednesday in league on the shark pattern then submit a complete review. If you go to the MOTIV-Facebook site you can see a picture of it, along with pictures 3 of 4 of their new bowling bags.

Used it Sunday on fresh house shot.I took two different TR2's,with two different drillings, still in OOB surface/800 wet-dry. The TR2 did what it's intended to do :hook.A more complete review coming later after throwing Wednesday on the shark pattern.

Hello again everyone.I used the TR2 OOB/800 grit surface Wednesday night
on my PBA Experience league ,shark pattern.I used the 4"x4" drilling
which helped me control the entire lane without getting a over/under
reaction.I played 24/16/8 starting out the ball had great revs off my
and,a good mid-lane read,at the break point the ball went into a very
heavy and continuous arc.The TR2 enabled me to have recovery if I
missed 1-2 boards right and,it held pocket if I missed 1-2 boards
left.Overall I shot a 600 because of 3-8pins in the last game.The TR2
matched up well for me ,15-16mph & 265 rpms .Thursday I'm going to
sand one to 4000 and the other to 4000 and polish and throw them on a
cheetah pattern and a day old house shot, then put all this information
into a final review.
