Title: Pramid Balls Videos
Post by: Rileybowler on December 06, 2016, 09:01:05 PM
I have viewed a lot of videos of Pyramid balls on bowlingball.com, however I have yet to see any videos by anyone else, which seems kind of strange. I did order the Blueprint solid and supposed to be here tomorrow. Anyone having the Pyramid solid what is your thoughts on this ball, would it be a good bench mark ball. Also is yours drilled strong, I was looking at their drilling sheet and they have a couple drillings which say are good for different conditions and wanted to know if anyone had tried one of those drillings, thanks in advance.

I have a number of Pyramid balls and some are drilled strong I have both pin up and pin down and all work well . I have found that changing the cover surface to match your game to the lane conditions is very easy. So I think you will be very happy  with your new ball.

I throw the pathogen solid pretty legit ball btw.
One of the guys in my league dominates with a divergent oath (pearl?) It's the all blue one.

I have heard decent things about the blue print you should be pretty happy, they do react pretty decent and throw pins around just like any other brand.

I think if they want the name out there they need to start giving away balls for testing, IMO

I've watched guys come in and shoot decent sets with their stuff. One guy even shot 880 (I believe) with the Blueprint Pearl. I, personally, haven't been too impressed but that's just me. They seem to handle the fresh pattern really well but tend to struggle in the transition and chase in periods. A gentleman I drilled for had a Blueprint Solid and he just couldn't get it to roll through the pins well; multiple surface changes, weight hole, put him under oil, put him on burn, just didn't match up.

One aspect is they seem to have that Old School early and rolly motion where if not properly adjusted can lead to rolling out too early and deflection. That's just my .03 cents.
