Pyramid balls

Does anyone throw pyramid equipment? Opinions? They are starting to catch my attention, but I am hesitant to move away from mainstream companies. Possibly looking at the Dark Path, but the video for bowling ball.com make the ball look like it is holding back somehow... And idk if my pro shop will order it in

I still say that divergent path core is killer, being its 3 color any proof it is a 900 or a storm pour?

If I were going to buy pyramid I would get the blueprint and the dark path hybrid, both look pretty solid in the vids.

Purchased the blood moon and can't find myself liking the ball no matter what...It's nowhere near as agressive for me as I thought it would be even with the sanded finish (strong roll/strong backend)

That's the ball I'm most interested in! Have you played with the surface yet? How did you lay it out and what are your specs?

sorry man i know none of that tech layout stuff...i just have a basic pin up drilling, ball is already sanded as i choose the strong roll/strong backend option...it hits hard but it just doesn't move like i thought it would

I got a Blood Moon for dirt cheap and couldn't like it any better. I went with a fairly aggressive layout and put it at 3000 abralon sanded as I don't see much oil around here and I am a low revs/speed stroker. This is not a strong ball for me either, but an excellent control piece and exactly what I need in a benchmark. Absolutely predictable and very good carry. The smooth roll and gentle arc reminds me of some of my Brunswick pieces.

Within the last couple of months I purchased the "Blueprint".  Can't  say enough about this ball, absolutely incredible, one of the best I've had in a long time.

I've been eyeing the Blueprint. Does anybody know how this ball would fit together with the Blood Moon?

I had the bloodmoon,  wound  up selling it early on didn't like it much. The Blueprint is longer,  extremely smooth and a VERY strong pronounced back end,  just awesome,  the perfect ball in my opinion. The bloodmoon was tame compared to the Blueprint.

Looking at their web site, it looks the two together would make a great 1-2 punch. The Blood Moon for the first two games when you want to play more direct and the Blueprint for when you want to open it up.

I own 3 of them.

Two Chosen Path's the Solid and the pearl.  Like the Solid a little too smooth for me might move the weighthole off the PAP.  Haven't gotten the Pearl set up quite right!

The Dark Path is sitting ready to go!  Recently bowled in a tournament and a no thumber made that thing sing.  Smooth and strong and lots of comeback!

As to the Dark Moon.  A friend had it brand new and looked real good with it for about 10 weeks, maybe 15.  In all reality for him it is sort of dead now.  He has replaced it with an old Marvel Pearl!  Looking great!  I am surprised as my Chosen Paths are much older and still hooking!

I replaced my hammer Bad Ass & Bad Intensions with the Solid & pearl Divergent Path balls and raised my average of barely touching 600 to nothing less than 680 the last 3 weeks, yesterday I shot a 737 with the pearl and won a doubles tournament.
