I drilled a handful of Chosen Paths for a handful of customers in the past year. They were pretty strong. If you know the RG and differential game, know how to lay out balls, and know how to match up your customers' surface, you can find success with these.

I noticed the chosen path pearl went up 10 dollars...

I had a Chosen Path pearl and was suprised at how stromg it was. I sold it when I changed my fit last year and plan on getting another and drilling it a little weaker. The new Blood Moon as caught my eye as that core looks a lot like the core from the 900Global Lunatic orite balls

So Storm is making Global and Global is making Pyramid. Wacky business.

Maybe some of the Pyramid balls are made by 900 Global, but I just picked up a Chosen Path Pearl and it says both on the box and on a sticker attached to the ball that it is designed in the USA and made in China.

I just happened upon this thread and looked at the new Blood Moon.
Interesting ball, for medium oil - nice.
The core looked familiar; so I researched it - it's from the 900global Lunatic. So does this mean 900G is manufacturing the newer balls from Pyramid now?

The Black Friday price of $79.99 is very reasonable these days, for an older core. I wonder which 900G coverstock this is?

The Blood Moon has the same core that was also in the 900Global Jewel. 

If I didn't have such horrible results with the 900Global Network earlier this year, and someone else I bowl with didn't dislike their Jewel so much, I would pick one of these Blood Moons up for the $80.  I am just not going to deal with something based on 900Global tech at this point.  If the coverstock is NOT a 900Global formulation it may be worth trying, but I am not taking that risk. 

The Chosen Path is a good, strong ball.  I was hoping to see the Dark Path Hybrid at a better Black Friday price than $115.  If they were to bring that down to $90 or so I would order one.

I am currently using an Elite Treason, manufactured in China.  Really liking the performance of the ball.  I would have no qualms about getting another bowling ball made in China (aside from initial guilt of not buying a Made in USA product.)

So I called BowlingBall.com/Pyramid and got a confirm the Blood Moon is a Solid.

Hmmmmm....I sure like the looks of the Jewel and old Global 900 Lunatic on the Youtube......In our house on the left.....Solid is often the best......Of course their video looks great ....similar spec/numbers to the Hysteria though a dramatically different looking core.....I have liked the Hysteria in a ball Demo!

For those of you who purchased Pyramid balls on Black Friday, what was your take on them?
 
Also wanted to see if anyone has tried the Dark Path Hybrid 19.5 yet?
