It's going to be delivered tomorrow and I'll get it drilled Wednesday, I can't wait to use this solid green machine.

Hate that I now have to wait until May to get mine.  Originally the ship date was this month, but I guess the demand has been so high and or production capacity at the manufacturing plant has been very low.

My Pathogen has finally shipped  ;D ;D ;D ;D.  Looking to get it some time early next week.  Can't wait to get it punched up, and then get some summer practice with it.

I have two of the Chosen Path pink/green, one pin up and one pin down. Bought them on a black Friday ($79) special, figured essentially its a 2 for 1 on high performance bowling balls.

The pin down right out of the box was amazing. But after a few short weeks, it died. Tried everything, including taking the lane shine off and get it back to its factory finish....dead. Figured it was a "you get what you pay for experience".
The pin up is a complete monster and hooks as much as any of the storm/roto balls I own. Shot my highest set of my life with that ball. However, don't get to use it much since it hooks off the lane. Needs a bunch of oil, that's for sure. Not sure how quickly it would die with extended use.

My only concern w/ Pyramid equipment is the longevity.....and that they come from China. However, that also allows the cheap prices ($90) for a high performance ball. So its a give and a take. Funny how Brunswick moved to Mexico to lower production costs, yet their prices are still the same as Storm/Roto, which is made right here in the US.

Would love to hear more reviews on this Pathogen!! The color and price definitely caught my attention, as well as the fact it was their fastest selling ball to date! Looking forward to your review briandking1906.

The only balls that are same price is the top of the line when comparing Brunswick to Storm. Actually even then storm is 169 while Brunswick is in the 150s. (Comparing online prices) The new Rhino coming out is $20+ cheaper than the Match line that just came out.

the Rhino line is closer to the Tropical line in terms of reaction.

The core numbers are identical between the Rhino and Match, just depends on the strength of the cover for the Rhino. I would expect the Match to be more ball and have a sharper backend reaction because of the core shape. However, the Rhino should definitely be more than the Tropical line

True, can get a Nirvana for 159 or a Lock for 169. However, the $10 in savings isn't taking away any Storm/Roto customers. I haven't thrown Brunswick in years, so I can't speak to their performance, I just don't see the point in sacrificing so much to move to Mexico to save your customers $10. If it dropped your high performance down into 120-130, now I could see the point. In addition, at the center by dad owns, we have had significantly more Brunswick plastic balls crack compare to any other company. We have a distributor in my area that stopped carrying all Brunswick/dv8 equipment because it wasn't selling and it was more difficult to get. Probably not much in that.

Don't want to hijack the post, really do want to hear more Pathogen reviews!!

Got the Pathogen all drilled up and ready to roll.  Will be interesting to see what this ball can do.  Depending on what it looks like after a couple practice games, may use it for my tournament tonight.

Have been throwing the ball for a couple weeks now, and you are definitely right about the need for oil.  This is a lot more ball then I expected.  Just for some perspective, my normal go-to drill on most of my equipment is close to a 4x4x2 layout (pin above ring finger to the slight right, with cg kicked out about 1/2 inch to the right.)  I went with the same drill on this ball.  Based upon that, I get some pretty wicked backend.  In playing more right and straight in, ball creates great carry and angle entry.  But so far, I have noticed that if I need to move more to the left, I definitely have to take a little hand out of the ball, or add an additional 1 mph or so to make sure it does not hit high.

Overall, so far I am very impressed with the look, quality, and performance of this ball.  Will be putting it on some sport conditions this summer to get another feel for how it performs.  Definitely a great ball for the price.  Kudos to Pyramid.
