Bowler Specs: 15-15.5 mph

Axis Rotation: 45-60*

Rev: 275-325

PAP: 4-3/4 X ½ up

Ending static weights

Finger: ¼ oz

Side: ¼ oz

Top: ½ oz

Old wood lanes in need of a cut and resurface, THS medium to medium heavy oil 41’ buff, OOB at 3. Got back on Friday afternoon and punched  one up, bowled on left over shot from the league on Thursday night. Back ends were still alive, had some transition, not true carry down.

The Slant seemed very forgiving; miss right it recovered nicely, clean up front, heavy mid lane roll, and strong off the spot. Very consistent ball motion was the most noticeable trait, when I tried to bounce it off the dry early; it never over reacted like some pearls will, covers plenty of boards, and does it in a smooth manner, a hard hook, with control. Moved 5 & 5 left with feet and target line, soften the speed, it still recovered, light hits had messengers run from both sides, ball retained its energy very well, like a polished pearl should. Flush hits rendered an awesome loud crack, must have been bustin’ some wood. A+++

I got to use my SLANT for the first time in league. I have it drilled 55 x40 x4 1/8. I have slower speed and medium revs, about a 40 degree rotation.

Wood house fresh shot. Games of 230, 244, 246. left only 1  7 pin all night (left handed) usually leave a million of them. Non strikes were purely operator error.

Ball had the perfect read and nice difinitive move to the pocket off the spot. I left it box finish and it matched up perfectly. Wide shots recovered and struck with out having the ball quit which is usually a 7 pin for me when I miss wide. Everything near the pocket struck. I desigend this ball for the house shot house bowler out of the box. It is tuneable for more oil with a little scuff. As Steve mentioned it is very loud. That is because it retains it energy and rotation so so long.

I have a SR. All-stars tourny this weekend so I'll drill one a bit stronger and go in with the 2 balls. We'll see what happens.

Phil

What what I have figured out (with some help) is that the pin being 4 1/8 from the PAP is the most continuious position on this balls.

Whats your tilt... whats your speed...

Important factors.
