Great bowling ball. Ryan sent me this ball last week and I throw it for the first time on Friday night in
league and I must say it is the most continual ball that I have ever thrown, never stops hooking. Shot 785 with it and should have had 300 the last game, stone 9 first in the 10th. I will be ordering some of these for the shop very soon. Even with a very weak drilling this ball had lots of back end but very controlling at the same time.

I was wondering though, its not PBA registered so does that mean it can not be used in the US Open in New Jersey? Crazy question I know but I did not know if product registration mattered in like the Masters and the Open?

Agree, this ball never stops hooking. An amazing piece of equipment! Hope to see more from Kinetic bowling in the future.

Definitely a very continual hooking ball that responds quickly to friction.

I find it a little sensitive to carrydown though where as the Break pearl can cut through just a smidge better.

A_P_K, don't be afraid to take a white scrotch brite if you think the ball is skating to or through the midlanes. The cover(900Global derivative) on this ball is great and will respond nicely to subtle changes.

Had a conversation with officials at the Masters about registered shoes. You can use non registered products there up until the televised show, then everything has to be approved by the PBA.

I noticed you said the ball has a little trouble with carrydown. I noticed the same thing with mine. I blame alot of it on the typical factory polished surface from any company putting on such a thick coat that there is no way it is going to be worth a crap in any kind of carrydown situation.

I have since took the ball to 4000 abralon, which now it is a nice high sheen, and the ball is just as awesome as the polished up surface only handles a little more oil with much better carrydown potential.

The ball has excellent continuation, mine has been carrying the world. Light hits, high hits, you name it they seem to all go down. One thing I noticed right away is the balls ability to keep the pins low, i normally don't notice it with many balls, but this was was noticable to me.

Video and review coming wihtin the next week or so.

Who can I ask about throwing this ball @ the US Open in New Jersey this year?

Kinetic doesn't yet seem to be approved by the PBA.

I'd say that of this moment you can't use it.

Ask Kinetic if they've submitted their application for approval. Since they're a start-up company and have only one product, I wouldn't be optimistic. PBS fees are very expensive.

But I thought with the Masters and the US Open that those events were subject to any USBC approved equipment until you made the TV show then it was the PBA's choice?

You can send an email to info@pba.com I remember 2 or 3 years ago a friend of mine bowled in the US Open and all he used was Lane Masters equipment. Because they were not registered he had to have new equipment drilled so he could bowl.
