Yes this is the core and cover that will be on the ball that will be released in a few weeks. The cover is most comparable to the s-77 coverstock used by 900G, and the cover prep on the ball in the video is pretty much what will be on the ball.

You will notice that this video has been made in a different bowling centre than the original Solaris... this is because that other centre had no where enough oil for this ball, plus we wanted something with more oil outside. This pattern is wuite a bit tougher than the average THS, however we will be testing this on the WTBA Long patters very soon.

IME, unless you run into the first shift of fresh oil, you wont need it if you have any type of hand at all.
I took a lot of medium to heavy oil balls with me and ended up using a Fire Quantum all day..
