Yeah, I ordered a case today. the breaks went as fast as they arrived, didn't get a chance to drill one for myself.

Creature is definately going to be my bench mark ball. I started out last night couples league with the break and it was just to strong for the shot. Left 4 10-pin in the first game. Shot 205, pulled out the Creature and shot 258 2nd game and 213 last game. Not bad 676 with the Creature when I missed 5 10-pins in the set. Had a bad stick spot when I slide for 10-pin. Sad thing was that the on the other team a guy was using a Black Widow Pin over and was having a hard time getting his ball back. Not starting a war with the black widow because I do not know what his cover was at but I am just posting what I experienced.

The Creature is a pearl essence. Solid resin base with some glitter in the material.

I haven't seen the Creature in person, only on the 900G website and it looks more like a solid than a pearl.  Of course, you know what it is, but I'm tired of all these "looks like a pearl but really a solid" and "looks like a solid but really a pearl" balls that are coming out.  I like being able to look at a ball and know, but it seems like that's not an option anymore.

Question: Is the amount of pearlization added to the coverstock a design factor?  Companies advertise various particle loads for different lane conditions from heavy to light, but does the amount of pearl added make a difference and does anyone use that as part of the design?
