Radical Slant mini review
« on: March 25, 2011, 03:07:38 AM »
I drilled my radical slant monday and got to use it for first time in league last night.  It is drilled pin above ring finger with mass bias about an inch left of thumb need  weight hole which we put on my pap.  My pap is 4 1/8 over and 1/4 up.

Threw about 6 practice balls ball is alot stronger than I anticipated but it was a pleasant surprise.
I bowl on old wood lanes and the normal league shot is med at best huge puddle in middle dry outside.  The backs were a little more open than normal. they usually oil to the 40 foot area.

Started off front 4 pocket 7-10 off sheet for 266.  Got little ahead of my self second game threw arrant shots for 5 frames finished with 221.  Started front 6 last game ringing 7 pin and off sheet for 279 to finish 766.  Ball get thru fronts clean,  revs hard in mid lane and makes a strong controlled move to pocket and doesnt quick what impressed me was the continuation thru the deck.  I would send it wide and it wouldnt hook early but would come hard and crush pocket usually send wide it either checks early or flat 7.  If i got it in it would hold line and still finsh strong.  It created miss room for me that is the key is it not.  I was certainly impressed with this piece and look forward to trying new ones.  By far my favorite ball and gonna be my first out of the bag for some time to come.

Globally my game has never been better in tourneys they always say im a longshot, in my head i am always the favorite.  At the end of the day I'm scoring a raw profit to deposit in the bank.

I have both very similar drillings. The Bank is earlier and much smoother off the spot for me. They cover about the same amount of boards (on a THS) though just different shape...
