Hi All,
I am proud to present to everyone, The long awaited Break Video
http://www.videoballreviews.com/global.html
I have two of the bad boys drilled up:
#1 is 5.25 x 75*mb
#2 is 4 x 45* mb
Two very different reactions also...both are strong in the backend but #2 is very rolly compared to #1...
This is a GREAT first introduction from 900 Global
Questions and comments are welcome as always!

As far as polish goes, again when i get some time im going to play with surfaces to see what happens...but im scared to polish #1 lol

Am I missing something? Don't get me wrong, it looks like a great ball, good carry, hit, rolls well, but i didn't really think it was that angular...looked like a nice hard arc to me. Does look nice though.

Those Storm balls roll well with the 900 Global covers, too!

its not a storm coverstock, storm just poured the balls, Phil gave them the core and the coverstock formula
besides, Phil has already said the coverstock is the exact same as SuperFlex from the old columbia balls, so its definately not a storm coverstock

That ball is veryyyy angular. I'd hate to see mine with polish as well. I guess mine is alot more angular because I have more side rotation on my ball.

That picture is my layout, very comparable to Britton's.

williewc -- the cover is not on THE BREAK is NOT Superflex.
Now, on the Creature...maybe. But NOT on the The Break.
-
stand semi corrected...
If 900 started the next batch do you think they would roll the same??
-
Yes...the cover formulation is Phil's, not Storm's. That would be like comparing Storm Made Tropicals to 900G Made Tropicals to (old) Columbia 300 made Tropicals. They are all still Tropicals.
The Breaks will be Breaks, as the coverstock formulations will have stayed the same. I doubt the actual "pouring process" is quite different from one company to another...it's not like one pours into cubical molds, then chops off until they have a sphere, and the other pours into a sphere mold...lol...

I need to see a comparison against another ball, maybe like the Black Widow, since this is the ball that the staffer guy compared it to, with the same surface, then we could make a judgement.
coming soon...i drilled up break #1 exactly like my widow for a comparison video...i just want to get a few more games on my break to catch up with the widow...then i will give them both a fresh 4000 surface and we shall compare
