I've bowled 5-6 regional events, and I've never been reasonably close to cashing. I was in fifth place on my squad through five games once, and I finished a small plus another time. That's it for me. For this kid to be competitive like that at age 12 is awesome. Like a few others have said, it's good to see a kid who would rather be out somewhere doing something active rather then sitting around watching TV or playing Wii bowling. Good job, Kameron!

I must admit, what this kid has done is a feet. I really hope his parents don't try to jump on and ride him downhill and burn his game out because I have seen it done to a few of my friends. I am not trying to bash him or anything but it is a regional competition. When Jake Peters was 18 he finished around 24th at the Masters, and just a few years ago Andrew Koff was leading most of qualifying at the Open. This kid obviously has a great amount of talent, but how could he compare to what those two did at their ages? I really hope this kid keeps his game under his feet and doesn't think with the success he has had that his game will always be the best. I would like to say congratulations and good luck in the future Kamron.
