Anyone notice Doug Kents Shirt???
« on: October 31, 2006, 11:29:48 AM »
Notice in this pic. . .
http://www.brunswickinsiders.com/2007/PBAtournaments/Milwaukee/milwaukeephotos/milwaukeeshow%20008.jpg

He has the Black Widow Shirt on.
BUT, if you watched the telecast, he had a No Mercy shirt on.

What gives??? Fashion Statement?

Yeah, I know he had the No Mercy shirt on in the telecast, it was practically the only visible thing on the front of his ALL BLACK shirt. . .

I am sure that being on the telecast, that he was going to advertise the newest, latest and greatest from said company.  Lets face it.  You wont see a Hammer Staff person wearing a shirt with a Vicious logo on it.  In other words, keeping up with the newest releases.

Not that this means anything, or that it says anything, but my boss, a hammer staff member, wears his Vicious shirts still. Then again he still owns 1 of them and still throws it it was that good.

He probaly has a couple of shirts for the day. I'm sure you get hot under the lights and he was probably there hours before the telecast.

True, but what I am saying is that according to the pic+the telecast, Kent switched shrits for TV. Seemingly, he used the black widow shirt for practice, then switched into a No mercy short before TV. . .

Maybe he spilled something on the shirt and had to change???

And - the bowlers used to get paid something like $200 if they wore a ball company shirt on tv - can't remember if they had to win to get the money. But you often saw players throwing one brand and wearing another if they didn't have a ball contract.
