I hope they come back to Birmingham or New Orleans, because I could conceivably go to one of those.

From what I hear Birmingham is a go. Not for sure if same timeframe or later. Hope to hear more about it. Know people that work in that center. Of course all could change but sounds good for them to go back.

Cool.  I'm about three hours from B'ham.  I wanted to go last year but wasn't able to make it work.  If they're back this year, I may try to put together a group to go.  Especially with our local boy, Rudy, out on tour.

Bah, now I have to drive longer to get there.  Oh well, as long as there is something close.

Missed a good show. First tour stop I was ever at. The center (Lightning Strikes) did a great job. Watch out for another great stop there this year. Get tickets fast once you can they will be gone pretty fast I think.

If they do indeed go back, I'll see if there's anyone who will go with me and try to get tickets pretty early.

I did hear they are NOT coming back to Dallas this year because of the poor overall condition of Don Carter West. It has really gotten bad the past few years. They need to put some money into that place.

Jim,

No kidding about the condition of Don Carters. We just got thru with state there and it was the worst I have ever seen. It must have been 100 degrees in there and the snack bar had no food at all. Poor.

For those who are hoping the U.S. Open will be back in NJ, I spoke to the business manager of Carolier when I was there last year and they had signed a 5 year contract for the Open, so we got 4 more left

I've heard from an inside source that there will be a tour stop in Buffalo, NY this year.  It's about time seeing as the closest was the Flagship in Erie, before it stopped.  Closest drive for us was three hours to Cleveland.
