The bowling was great, but I had to turn the volume off after listening to Chris Barnes for the first match.  And you guys thought Rob Stone was bad.

Missed it as well. Did CB do like the last show and spend the whole time saying everything the bowler did was wrong?

The last show he dogged Kulick the whole time saying everything she did was wrong, as she won the tournament.

I guess he is still mad she won more PBA events and majors then he did this season because she doesn't choke under the pressure.

Really? You guys don't like Barnes in the booth? I loved it a few years back when most weeks they would have Duke, Barnes, or Voss in the booth. Great to hear input from someone who knows what it takes.

And I am tired of hearing about a stone 8 from 15 years ago.....lmfao.

Man Kelly had a sweet look going on that last game, well executed shots.  That mission had such a pure roll, the lane level look really showed it's smooth characteristics well.....

No, I do not like Barnes in the booth, unless it is Linda. CB may be talented beyond belief, but he gives me the creeps. He also appears to be full of himself and arrogant. Maybe he's been told he's the most talented bowler alive so much that he's starting to believe it. To me, he gives of a sort of prickish quality, at least on T.V.

I loved it in the TOC when, after his very first shot, he backed away from the foul line in dis-belief and uttered the word WOW. You instantly knew he was confused and had no idea why his ball did what it did, and KK had him in her gunsights.

I have no malice towards him, but, if he never won again, it wouldn't bother me.

Oh, and yea, that solid 8 IS kind of old now......

I heard him on the 13th frame show and he doesn't seem too full of himself there.

I never said he wasn't a good broadcaster. He probably got paid for that, so he better not come off that way. What I said was that he gives me the creeps and comes across in a "prickish" manner, and to me, he does.

When you see him bowl, he always looks p.o.'d about every shot he throws that doesn't strike. Recently, he made an on air remark when asked about the quality of one of his opponents shots that had gone brooklyn, in an almost demeaning manner, by saying about one of his own shots "at least it didn't go brooklyn".  He proceeded to lose that match, which I found satisfying.

He's full of himself alright. You can see it in his mannerisms and reactions, almost like the pins OWED IT TO HIM to fall down.

A million dollar talent in a $.50 bag.

Kind of reminded me of Red from Madmen. Very attractive, and found out from a friend they are in fact an item. Good for Shannon.

Whenever Shannon is on TV she's in the stands.  That was my first clue.

He wasn''t a broadcaster on the 13th frame.  He was a guest and he talked about his personal life.
