I was thinking that we could make it 3 in a row...
3 years without a lefty qualifying for the tour....through the tour school process! I'm thinking of some of the righties saying Louis Armstrongs.
"What a wonderful world....
Then I checked and saw the styleish form Eric Forkel up there.
And isn't Marc Scroggins another lefty?
Richie Wolfe...what a classic thrower...I'd love to watch that on TV every chance I could get! WOW!
SOmehow I doubt it will happen! Not a single one...but if Eric Forkel gets to the show...I'll be happy. Like his style...drop the sunglasses! They look cool on PW but.....
REgards,
Luckylefty
PS I personnally believe that Michelle Feldman has more of a chance than a lefty but we'll see!

Hey! I like watching Eric Forkel bowl. He should keep the glasses if he likes them.

Depends on cheetah and the scoring pace. I believe the next two days should play fairly straight don't know if they will get the breakdown enough if the scoring pace is high the last day. Still very fun to watch this year. Any lefty just no Chris Hayden please.
Looking at a young gunner named Van Hee's. (Righty) Very good game straps it pretty hard but reminds me of Machuga with a bit more hand. Haven't seen him bowl in about a year but have followed his growth in the east for a couple years.
-
I believe the center has new lane beds this year, if so thats most likely why lefties are doing better this year.

Interesting...comment on twins made as though that would make them both....lefty?
Not necessarily! There are actually many varieties of twins including ...mirror twins!
Trust me on this...not a clear cut assumption....From the Father of twin daughters!
No! You can't meet them!
REgards,
Luckylefty
PS...both lefty?
PPS isn't this the twin that averaged 258 just before Jeff Carter set average record of 26X?

PS Chris Hayden...nobody likes his game...yet I've bowled with him and loved it!
I remember when he won once on tour he was dropping it a bit...but in tourney I bowled on same pair he was throwin so smooth one couldn't hear a thing!
Nice guy too!

Still interested...new lane beds...advantage for lefties?
What do you think they did after 1st day to ease it up on lefties.
Saw our posts out here and....did what?
Maybe too many lefties going forward...
Did I just say that?
Chris Hayden what a bull rush to near the top(two consecutive 2100+s)!

Same old story.
Make the sides equal lefties can't compete.
Make them better on the left adn any decent lefty dominates.
I'm sur thePBA heard the wines and eased up on the left and as normal went to far.

Just to give everybody a little insight as to what happened last week ( i went up there for the last 3 days ), all of the patterns were changed right before Tour Trials. The patterns are now all very similar, but just with different volumes and pattern lengths. The right side played out on every pattern. With that many players on the right the track area blew open pretty fast, but with the volume of oil in the heads and in the middle, the "in" never really developed on any of the patterns. Since there were only 20-25 lefties in the field ( only 7 or so in the final squad ), they were able to play right around 5-8 on all 5 patterns all day long. The lane surface really had nothing to with any of this. Dont ask why the patterns were changed because i have no clue.

Ahhhhh!
Yes, I agree with Bob Hanson...though I have not had problems playing inside on Anvilanes and going inside.... in general I have played better on the left on HPL! Almost Always much better. ((Bob H...how did you know they were HPL) I could only find the designation Synthetic on the description of the lanes).
Also...for Jeff Carter...did they put the descriptions of the new patterns up on site via a chart for the bowlers to review???
Night before...or a practice shot out? ...night before or a chart day of??
REgards,
Luckylefty
PS changing patterns right before the trials...sounds sort of funky!

Billy Oatman is a lefty he almost made it as Del was starting to give it up from insiders bowling there. I am glad Del hung in there it will be nice to see the old cooger out there for at least a year or maybe longer if wins.
