A message to Mr. Dave Ryan
« on: January 16, 2005, 04:24:11 AM »
Good lord, I would imagine that most people watching a PBA tour show would have an idea of what the game is about.  We do NOT need to hear about how close Parker (or anyone else for that matter) is to history from the 6th frame on.  At this point he has 8 but c'mon man.  Give it a rest next time.

60 feet to success baby!

And the infamous Turkey ball!

It is what it is.

Hey, if you guys don't like Dave Ryan, why not.. Turn OFF the TV!!

I get so tired of him getting slammed everyweek.. I think people are just jeolous that they don't have his job..

I am glad we at least for now have ESPN doing the shows..

I'm very appreciative to have a show to watch on Sunday mornings (especially to hear the distain in Chris Bermann's voice when he's doing his 8 hour morning count down sign off) but how hard would it be to pay someone who knows what they're talking about?  He does the SAME commentary for ping pong for crying out loud.  Get  Steve Hoskins out there or something.  If you're going to put a talking ESPN head out there they could at least put someone entertaining.  Norman Chad doesn't seem to do much the 11 months of the year that the WSOP is going on.

*sigh*........

ESPN will never put anyone who is known to the public on a bowling telecast.  It's not worht the extra cash when they can use Ryan, who does commentating for all the weird, non-watched events like dart throwing and stuff.

That's great, what's your point.  Does chris berman commentate darts and curling and stuff like that?  No, it's the reporters like dave ryan that espn can use for cheap.

I'm surprised he's not calling this heated SEC girls gymnastics meet.

I think I heard him say THE CHEATER PATTERN lol...
--------------------
I never dreamed it would be me, My name for all eternity, Recorded here at this hallowed place Alas, my name, no more my face. "In the line of duty," I hear them say: My family now the price to pay. My folded flag stained with their tears; We only had those few short years. The badge no longer on my chest, I sleep now in eternal rest. My sword I pass to those behind, And pray they keep this thought in mind. I never dreamed it would be me, And with heavy heart and bended knee, I ask for all here from the past: Dear God, let my name be the last.

I have just two words for Dave Ryan...

SHUT UP!

I'll take Ryan over that jerk Jim Kelly any day, but the guy really needs to learn when to let the action speak for itself.  You don't need to talk all the time!
