A New Sean Rash
« on: January 13, 2014, 02:50:13 PM »

And I have to say, I like what I see.

I just caught up on the WTBA finals, and it is good to see Rash more calm in his demeanor, and more focused. There were less outbursts than what we see from him, and less of those demons getting into his head. And there is absolutely no doubt what changed him; we saw that as he walked out during the introductions, and after his match.

Congratulations are definitely in order for him and Sara, as that baby is adorable. And to be honest, because of her giving him that new focus, we may have seen the last of the cocky, brazen Sean Rash that fueled the rivalry between him and Belmonte; we may have even seen the last of that, as now he has to be the example to his daughter.

But I also have to say that after seeing him walk out with her, I really feel for the Blanchards. It does hurt to see someone walk around with a newborn, when you've done all you could, and lose your baby. I've witnessed that firsthand.

Either way, I think we'll see a wiser, more fatherly Sean Rash in the future.

BL.

Who cares what viewers think?  You wouldn't get a dog and pony show from me if I was in his shoes either.

It's called character and integrity. You lose absolutely nothing and gain a lot in congratulating the winner of a match. Like trust, your character is always on the line in the eyes of others (viewers), and when you do something foolish or stupid, out the door it goes in the viewers' eyes, as well as your perception to others.

And you can not doubt that people remember the negative things someone does more than the positive.

You want to see someone handle it the right way? Again, look at Jurek's loss to Hess in the USBC Masters. That is how you handle it.

BL.

Really?  Get off of it for it a while.  You must be saddle-sore from staying on that high horse of yours all day.  You don't know squat about Sean Rash.  Yeah, he's a real prick.  Guess you forgot about the kid with brittle bone disease at last years WSOB that Sean took under his wing and gave him all the attention in the world?  Guy is out there doing his JOB and he shows more concern for the kid than himself or his game.

You know, haters are going to hate.  You've proven yourself nothing but a hater in this issue.  Shit you think is negative other people call being competitive.

You're right, what a farce this site is becoming. "Thats how you handle it"? Referencing Jack Jurek, all I remember about Jack Jurek is hes the "nice guy who never wins". If Im competing, for money, for my financial well being, Im not shaking hands or congratulating, Im pissed if I lose, if that makes me a sore loser, so be it.

Yet he's made more money than you. And did it with a hell of a lot better integrity and character than you. Too bad you will never realize it.

Do you have any PBA titles? If so, please enlighten me and list them, and where you won them, and against who.

I hope you enjoy your life, or whatever you want to call it. And you are free to leave the site whenever you choose.

BL.

P.S. I hope to see you bowl for money; I'd love to see how pissy you get when you do get beat; that would be a farce.

PBA titles do NOT make you a person or create integrity...or character

I never said they did. He ripped on Jurek, but doesn't have anything to show for himself; Jurek has the results; northface doesn't.

It's a pity you don't understand context. But then again, I'm not expecting much from you. So I'm not going to bother arguing with you. Have fun wallowing in the doldrums of your sore losses.

Your ignorance knows no limits, first of all you have no idea how much money I make. You strike me as the type of guy who sits down to urinate.

I respect Rash simply off the fact, he doesn't like Belmonte, why fake like he does? To appease morons like you who has a preconceived notion on "how things should be  handled"? Spare me.

Dude it appears you are arguing semantics...it just appears you are basing your opinions off an individuals accomplishments instead of actually knowing them to have an honest opinion...

Obviously this is directed at the all-knowing bradl, who seems to think that a person with more titles and money than another must be a swell guy. Get a clue, brad, get a clue.
Long Gone also posts the honest truth which is why i respect him. He posts these things knowing some may not like it.

I'm just glad Sean wasn't the one who hit Belmo in the face with a cream pie.
