Another Early Exit for Pete

Weber blew a 3-0 lead against Himmler today and lost in 7 games. He can't catch a break this year. He has to eventually make a show right?

Only if he can beat someone.

While I'm not a PDW basher (in fact I rather like him) he just doesn't seem to do well in this format.

you cant say PDW did bad, though...you dont always see a 279 tie with a 29-28 tiebreaker that could have won the match...you cant do much better than that.  i dont know if anyone from the site was there, but i would have to nominate that as one of the best matches of the year.

pete weber just got out-bowled. when himmler needed the strikes... he got them.

i thought it was funny though, watching weber fu** with kretzer's head... weber picked up his ball, got set and kretzer stands up next to him and sets up to toss. weber looks over at him for a good 2 seconds, all eye contact, and just DROPS his ball back onto the return from about head height!!! goes and sits down... kretzer looked pretty embarrassed, LOL.

i don't care who makes it, how much it costs, or how sexy the ball looks. can i carry the 7 and level the deck with a $60 ball?

Don SVO,

I am almost sure Weber was actually mad at Machuga for walking up on him, even though he was 4 lanes over. Weber was acting like a a-hole.. I know he is competitive, but that went a bit to far in my opinion..

Hotwire13,

I was there and it was a GREAT match.. Himmler left a 9 count on his 12 ball or he would have shot 280 and shut PDW out, but kudos to beat for throwing 3 big strikes in the 10th, 11th and 12th to tie him..

jkiser,

As I'm sure you know, the PBA uses a lane courtesy scheme that makes it very clear whose turn it is to bowl.  It involves the pair of lanes to your left, and the pair to your right.

Whether you are on the left lane or the right on your pair, there's no way for someone four lanes away from you to "jump" you, so... what was Pete's problem, other than being Pete?

machuga was bowling DJ archer. not kretzer. kretzer was being 100% man-handled by fleming, and in the pair next to weber.

i am 100% sure (since i was laughing my a** off), being directly behind him in the bleachers, that it was kretzer... and that he did walk up on Pete while Weber was going strike-for-strike against a hard-rallying Himmmler.

weber... an a**hole? maybe. but if my LIVING was defined by the next 4 bowling balls i threw: i would be pissed if someone 4 frames away from being eliminated (Kretzer, who was bowling like sh!t) was goofing around and messing up my rhythm.

i dont want to start a BS-contest with you over this. maybe weber was acting like an a**, but thats his money kretzer's messing with by breaking his concentration, ya know? i dont know how i would react in that instance, since ive never made a round of 32. but i am sure it might fluster me.

DonSVO,

Kretzer was not bowling Fleming, he was bowling Haugen JR. I am not sure what happened but I know Pete did NOT stare at Kretzer, he was staring at Machuga and Machuga was glaring back at PDW..

I have no idea what really happened but I was talking to Machuga's girlfriend about it after the match and she said Pete made Michael look like the bad guy and he had did nothing wrong. I agree with her, Machuga did nothing wrong..

I know PDW is intense, but there is such a thing as going over the line..
