Good PBA Sponsors.... Your thoughts?
« on: January 24, 2007, 01:09:02 PM »
As the news of the newest addition to the sponsorship of the PBA, "Go RVing", was confirmed today, it got me thinking:

What other companies would be good sponsors of the PBA?

I personally like the addition of "Go RVing" as it is relavent to the PBA with many touring pros like Walter Ray and PB3 utilizing this form of travel. This seems to be the right direction for the PBA: RELATIVE SPONSORSHIPS! Odor Eaters was a good one back in the day...

What are your thoughts?

How about :
Priceline.com - everybody on tour uses it
Cell Phone companies - everybody has a cell phone
Gas companies - obvious
HOOTERS - enough said
any Beer sponsor - this is needed badly since every bowling center relies heavily on these
Minor car manufacturers - PBA talked to Kia, but got turned down in the last round of negotiations
Pizza Places ( Pizza Hut, Dominos, Little Ceasars, etc.. )
Bottled Water - currently the labels are removed on the show, wouldnt have to be with a sponsor
Energy Drink ( Monster, Red Bull, etc.... )

and many, many more. I could litterally list 100 companies that would be a good fit

I think aspirin or ibuprofen manufacturers are a natural fit, as well as companies selling energy drinks to get you through the long grind of the bowling week!!!

TONS of good ideas in this post so far.

I especially like the idea of BOTTLED WATER! Easy product placement on that one.

And the PDW cell phone commercial idea is HILARIOUS! LOL!

Keep 'em comin'!
