D'Entremont tops the Trials
« on: June 01, 2008, 06:22:03 AM »
He shot +224 in round 5 to finish at the top of the trials heap.  Craig Tuholsky and Chad Kloss take 2nd and 3rd.  Even Randy Weiss came from outside the cut and made it into 6th place for a spot in next year's exempt field.

Congrats, though, to DD for overcoming big odds against a bunch of young guys to earn his exemption for 08-09.

Congrats to Double D!

Brian LeClair missed the cut by 3 pins!

Robert (Joe) Bailey wanted it soooo bad: his last 4 games: 246, 245, 269, 298.
Congrats to Robert also.

Congrats Double D, and T (don't call me Terrance) Reeves on making the exempt field.. One of my best friends on this whole earth, I literally almost had a heart attack waiting for the last game, simply because I know you.. I am soo proud of you sir... I even teared up as I texted you.. great bowling by the top 7 and those just outside the cut, tough break..especially 3 former exempt players right outside of the cut

Great bowling to Double D.  He absolutely wrecked each pattern.  With a low game of 182, you know you did something right.  Hope to see you kick some ace and take some names this season!

LeClair was exempt last year and finished 3 pins out.

Other former exempts who had good showings but didn't qualify were Patrick Girard and David Leverage. Rudy Revs was also at trials along with Chris Collins. Brian Himmler, too. I'm sure I'm missing a few.

I like Dave & his game. Congrats, but the last time I saw him on TV, it looked like he was really out of shape, like gasping for air. Hope he gets in better shape & is competitive this year.

Go Reeves! Wish that Stephenson would have had a better run. Better luck next year.
