Anyone going to the PBA stop in Vegas?
« on: December 16, 2006, 12:03:32 AM »
Is anyone going to the PBA's tour stop in Las Vegas, Nevada?

Motel 6 Classic
Dates 1/24/2007 - 1/28/2007
Location: Strike Zone at Sunset Station

Myself and 5 friends will be attending, we just purchased weeklong passes and tv final passes and now are just waiting for the Pro-Am packages to go on sale.

Also, has anyone bowled at Sunset Station?

The ProAm packages are not sold through the PBA site any longer.  The centers themselves provide the entries.  PM me with your email address and I can email you the entry form.  I got it from a Shelly Wooley at Sunset Station.

I'll be there with some of my friends for the ProAm either at 12 PM or 3 PM, I have to check with the last member of the group.

Yeah, K & K is A++, I stop by there whenever I am in Vegas.  Just wish I could be there tuesday before the tournament instead of wednesday.  Tommy Jones and Tony Reyes are making an appearance on tuesday afternoon.

Here's a schedule of confirmed PBA appearances at K&K (Flamingo location) the week of the tournament.  Format will be simple.  Come down, free of charge, and meet the following PBA stars, use our new, state-of-the-art training facility, get autographs, manufacuter specials, etc.  Times will be 12pm-4pm each day.

Tuesday, January 23, 2007 (before tournament)
            Tommy Jones (Ebonite)
            Tony Reyes (Hammer)

Wednesday, January 24, 2007 (PTQ and practice session day)
            Robert Smith (Storm)
            Randy Pedersen (Storm)

Saturday, January 27, 2007 (pro-am day)
            Chris Barnes (Columbia 300)
            Wes Malott (Track)

Monday, January 29, 2007
            Parker Bohn (Brunswick)

See you all there!  Come one day or come every day!

From Sunset Station, take 95 south to 215 west.  Go past 15 freeway to Jones.  Right on Jones all the way to Flamingo.  There is a 7-11 on the corner (we are in that shopping center).

Update for the K&K Bowling Services schedule of events:

We just found that the PBA has sequestered Tommy Jones and he will be unable to attend on Tuesday, January 23rd.  We are honored to find out that future Hall-of-Famer, Jason Couch, will represent Ebonite on that day instead of Tommy Jones.
