The track is several boards closer to the gutter on the left side of the lane than the right generally. My time put in as a lefty taught me that it was much better to miss outside than inside. If you watch, yeah, they had the gutter, but man if they tugged it a hair, it was gone. The track on the right side of the lane in my opinion is easier to play because it's a more comfortable amount away from the gutter. Lefties have to flirt with a lot more danger in my opinion. Generally the reaction is better on the left side if you make a good shot, but the window is much more narrow. If a lefty has success, I just congratulate them and move on because more often than not, they're screwed and the righties have the world.
