Approved balls question?
« on: July 17, 2005, 12:42:18 AM »
Since Revolution balls no longer seem to be on the PBA approved list, does this mean that no one is allowed to use any older Revoluton balls in any PBA tournament?

Thanks for the corroboration.

Unfortunately Revolution, as far as I know, no longer exists.

I had wanted to give an undrilled, NIB Revolution 16 lb ball to a PBA friend who can't afford new balls much anymore due the birth of his 6th child ...
Too bad he can't use it.

quote:
yes Brunswick makes their stuff.  I believe some of the Rebel cores were on the Rebel's before they were in the Inferno's and they share coverstock technology such as the PowerKoil's.  But they are still a seperate company as far as PBA registration is concerned, and that was the original question to this topic.

I would have also hoped for Revolution, especially since they are out of business, to be included under Brunswick's "umbrella", but since they are not, the PBA is undoubtedly sticking to its rules.
