BRYON SMITH?

That one major he won in '03...hasn't anyone heard of him doing anything since? Am I missing anything?

Hoskins I think made a show relatively recently...like late '05 early '06...but literally haven't heard ANYTHING from Bryon Smith...I miss watching him bowl.

He's bowled a few PTQs, finished 25th in Medford this year.  He lost his exemption a few years ago, hasn't made much of an effort to get it back.  They mentioned his talking to a sports psychologist almost every time he was on the show, I wonder if his mental game was not quite up to snuff.

Shelley that is a yes. Always seemed like a deer in the head lights or just not comfortable. He had a bit of a quirk in his delivery when you look at his shoulders. He would tend to twist or shrug it a little. Watch his pin carry when he would do that. Funny i bowled in a Pro-Am with him when he was a rookie. There was another kid from about the same area in Oregon who was also a rook and had much more talent but he dropped out after a few seasons. Bryon was always very nice just always perceived him as one who didn't feel "at ease" under the lights. Was glad to see him get one victory though.

It sucks I liked watching him bowl. Really underrated style. I think he should give it another run (if possible)

 No it was not Blaise his style was distinct. I might have to go back to old PBA yearbooks for this. He was a young brown haired kid was throwing HSP (Pre storm) products when i saw him. Nice smooth game with good revs. Bryon was about 150lbs soaking wet and wore the granny glasses. Favorite saying all the time "thats what I'm talking about".
