Are there big crowds at Tour Trials?
« on: June 02, 2006, 04:43:11 AM »
I'm just wondering what kind of spectator draw they're getting. Also, does anyone know what they're charging to get in and watch? Hammond is only like 45 minutes away. I know a few of the guys who are bowling; It would be cool to take a ride and check some of it out.

Crowds haven't been too big through the first two days...I would imagine they would get a little bigger on Saturday and especially Sunday...the last day of the trials is usually pretty exciting.  As for price, they are charging $5 for a squad...$7 for the whole day...and they were offering an unlimited pass for $30 on the first day...which was bumped down to $25 the second day...didn't go today...so I don't know if they lowered it again

Nah crowds haven't been that big at all. Mostly the same people each day.  Only new faces I saw today were Mike Wolfe, Jeff and cathy lizzi, and diandra asbaty and her husband.

I really would like to have come out to watch. If my wife's school year hadn't already ended, I would definitely have come out Thursday or Friday. Oh well, at least I can watch the live scoring. Some great people are doing some great bowling; that's awesome to see.
