(I don''t want to hear how you hate her. That''s inappropriate in this thread.)
I just got this month''s issue of BJI and in the article about the match between Shannon Pluhowsky and Carfolyn Dorin-Ballard, their major comment was how CDB was "totally lost" on the pair during the match.
There was not one comment as to the horrendous condition of the TV lanes over the entire WSOB (a major insult to our bowlers) or that CDB outscored all the men''s games. It seems like the TV lanes were actually much worse than the fabled horrid conditions at the Reno Bowlign STadium for the past 10 years or so, where only lefties won or even had a remote chance of qualifying , due to the same reason(s): the horrendously worn conditions of the lane surfaces. They, both the TV WSOB lanes, and Reno, were worse than the worst Guardian overlays after 10 years of no treatment or replacement. Only the heavy oil of the SHark pattern allowed any decent scores at all.
The fact that BJI chose to not mention this is a major insult to both Carolyn and every male bowler who was on TV over the entire series of the WSOB. It made them all look terrible FOR NO GOOD REASON.
CDB has not been the best woman bowler over the last 20 years for nothing.
