I LOVE my vertex 1/2 hp!!!! The only suggestion I could give is invest in the optional foot pedal for about 40.00 extra.

Best value is the 1/2HP Vertex, hands down.  I love my Vertex.  It was significantly cheaper than the Innovative spinner when I was looking for one and very high quality.  Commercial grade for pro-shop use?  Maybe not.  But for personal use, even regular use, it's an awesome little machine.

Actually, the Innovative Personal Ball Spinner is a better value than the Vertex. Innovative has a better warranty, better price, better customer service and it comes with a manual and dvd that will help you reach your maximum strike potential.

Innovative wins in every category when doing a side by side comparison.

I've had my Vertex for 5 years and never had any problems with it.

If you have a Harbor Freight Tools nearby you can get a foot switch for $10-13.  I'm sure you can find them at other places as well.

I'm assuming you're talking about the Innovative personal spinner?

They both look to be around the same price, so which ever one you pick you're going to get a quality spinner.

I've had my Vertex for 7+ years now. When I had a minor problem with the ball cup about 3 years ago, I shipped it to them. They returned it for free (from Michigan to NJ for free after working on it for 3 days. No charge for the service even though it was out of warranty and free shipping back. Can't get much better customer service than that.

More spinner for less money and the "How to Reach Your Maximum Strike Potential" dvd/manual(free bonus) plus 30+ years building the highest quality spinners available, not to mention the great customer service and lower shipping rates means you are the winner when choosing our spinner!!

I've had a Vertex 1/2 HP for 6+ years and no problems, so I can vouch for it's quality and performance.

I haven't seen an Innovative Spinner in person but have seen pictures of them and they look very close to a Vertex Spinner. With that being said and with Innovative's reputation of producing top-notch products, I would be willing to bet that their spinner is probably every bit as good as a Vertex.

I have the 1/2 hp Vertex and am very happy with it.  If I were in the market today for a spinner though, I'd certainly give the Innovative spinner a strong consideration.  If it's like other products from Innovative, I'm convinced it is a high quality piece of equipment and a better value price-wise with a user's manual & dvd.  Quality-wise, I'd bet it's a draw between the 2 vendors, you just get a little bit more from the Innovative folks for less $$.

There is nothing wrong with saying Innovative makes a good spinner but to say they are better in every category vs Vertex is a pretty bold statement..

The warranty is 5 years on the Vertex and 5 years Innovative so not sure how that is any better. I have had 2 Vertex spinners, both the 1/3 and 1/2 hp and had my latest for 4 + years with zero issues. I did have 1 small issue with the 1st vertex I had (switch went out) and Doug with Vertex mailed me the part I needed free of charge with no questions asked. That to me is very good customer service.

I have no doubt the Innovatibe personal ball spinner is a very good product but Vertex also makes a pretty good product themselves IMO..

Must be new.  I don't remember those prices when I bought my Vertex 3 years ago.

I've had my 1/3 Vertex since 2005 (inexpensive compared to what is now!).  Several months ago, I acquired a 1/3 & 3/4 multi speed Donkee.  Although it is super fast and multi speed, it's unstable...LOL  Nothing against Innovative (as I've never owned one), but Vertex hands down is my spinner of choice!  Trust me, since owning one, I really put it to work and it hasn't failed me yet!!!!

I have owned 2 donkee spinner's over the years and they stink IMO. I sold them off as fast as I could. Unless you want to bolt them down, the vibration is horrible to the point you think the ball is going to fly out of the ball cup and hit the floor.

My Vertex is smooth as glass and is not bolted down at all.

You're not kidding about the Donkee spinner!!!  You need a stud gun to bolt it to the floor!!!... LOL  My Vertex (in rubbermaid tub and not bolted) is like butter!  The Donkee was acquired from my the wife of my close friend and bowling partner.  He did all the ball cleaning and resurfacing for her and his daughter.  I offered to show her how to use it, but she wanted no part of it and she offered it to me for free but I gave her money.  I like the 3/4 speed for polishing
