koivuniemi imploded, and that younger kid he was up against just flat out got into his head. up 3-1 in the fifth game, girard threw 3 in a row and Mika literally picked up his gear after sparing the 3rd frame and took it to the back.
thats some piss-poor attitude. mika loses to a relatively unknown 21 year old bowler.
PDW didn't blow it. himmler had a crappy 2nd and 3rd game, shaped up some, and proceeded to just chuck the X more than pete did. PDW lost game 6 on the third ball of the sudden death (279-279) and lost game 7 238-248. just a tick behind himmler the whole last few games.
DJ archer gave up after machuga went 7 in a row, and he was leaving the 2-8-10 about every 3rd frame. that was rather dissapointing.
hugh miller (a personal favorite of mine) beat down D'entremont pretty good.
i dunno if i want to go to the finals sunday, maybe if himmler, allen or miller make it.
