I sit and watch the LIVE SCORING on PBA.COM and I say to myself .. How is BARNES going to screw this up? I just know he is!

I had to leave the house after writing my initial thoughts .. I came back and see that he did manage to blow it 4 - 3. I like the set up for the round of eight. It would be great to see the four top finishers as:

Walter R Williams Jr against Amaleto Monacelli and
Brad Angelo against Norm Duke

Those would be DREAM MATCHES!

Not bad .. picked 3 out of 4! Duke and Wolfe are bowling the best .. I LIKE DUKE TO TAKE IT ALL! This is a tough one!

Tough it was .. had the right two finalist .. Wolfe beat Duke by 2 pins .. in my estimation they were the best TV matches I've seen in a while!

I was impressed with Norm Duke's move between games.  It was gutsy and almost paid off.  He was throwing it slower than molasses in order to get some ball movement.

Were most of the players playing outside during the rest of the tournament?  Isn't it odd to play 5-10 on pattern B?

Todays game proved one thing to me .. DUKE can play any place on the lanes HE HAS TOO! You would think when he came up with that SPLIT that he would try to adjust again .. he stayed with it and had the opportunity to WIN and just didn't carry .. there's no doubt he rates up with the BEST!
