... could be interesting to see how he does with plastic, in comparison to the rest of the field.
I honestly don't think you'll see that much of a difference in how he performs compared to his fellow pro bowlers, but I'm sure many posters will say he will be affected more or less. I tend to think, though, that the style has some positives and negatives, and that, in general, against competition of that caliber, those positives and negatives tend to cancel out and leave the field just as level as it ever was.

He may have a pretty nice advantage if he can create a little bounce on the outside. 2 handers can get around it so much that he just might have a nice angle, especially on a modified cheetah. Will be interesting to see that's for sure.

A George Lampert IV Of Canada also made the cut. I can't find him right now, but I'd swear he posts here under another userid. I thought I saw his name in his signature. ANyone know him?

He should be a lock for the show.

I'm tired of hearing about him.. I know of a lot of other bowlers that could be just as good of a story.. like Lambert for example. He's made numerous good showings not just round of 64's
-
I've met him a couple times but I don't know if he posts on here though

The plastic ball tourney is going to be fun to watch. I'm sure the PBA is going to make sure the lanes are dry enough for the plastic balls to react nicely.
I still feel that WRW and Norm Duke will be the favorites because of their accuracy.

Except Duke's taking the week off (as are several others)

Y, this just in people, Duke is not bowling. Funny how everyone still thinks he's going to win.

AT least 9. Belmonte was 9th and last, at the bottom of the barrel with a 215 average. They (the PBA) should have made a bigger deal over David Williams who had a 240 average for the 7 games qualifying. Yet Jason made the picture at the lead article. Very unfair to Williams!!

Does anybody know who else is taking the week off?

Lambert posts on here awhile ago, maybe not now but about a year and half back he did around his first show time. One of my old drillers is good buddies of his and bowled with and against all the time.

Well, they weren't really favorites pre-resin. Take a look at their titles won pre-resin vs post-resin.

The obsession with this guy has to end. Great he made the PTQ. Now let's see what he can do.
-
Belmo isn't a great bowler because he throws it with two hands. He's a great bowler because he's dead accurate and can control and manipulate his release with an extremely high percentage of accuracy. Just like any other great bowler in the world, he will prove how versatile he can be. The fact that he throws it with two hands should be afterthought when you consider how good and consistant he can throw it over a long period.

Much like Sidney Crosby of the NHL, the PBA is beating the Belmonte drum to death. Let him make headlines, don't make them for him. It just makes everything look fake
