Yeah you're right, not a good start. I'm going through one of those periods where every mistake you make, you pay the maximum penanlty. At last count i had 18 splits in the 14 games. I missed one spare in 14 games and couldnt strike enough to make up for the splits. As you could see from the scores of the night block i had 7 games within 22 pins of each other. Plenty of frustration, even though this is my worst pattern. I'll go a little more into the details on my website journal.

Heres some interesting information for you though. For 2 days we practiced on the pattern. We bowled all afternoon tues and our 1 1/2 hour practice session yesterday. The lefties couldnt get the ball to come off the gutter at all. I'm talking 3 off the left shot after shot.

The first round of qualifying saw this:
4 lefties in the top 32
combined lefty avg for round one - 218.01

After round two was completed :
8 lefties in the top 32
combined lefty avg for round two - 230.07

Mark Scroggins went -2 in the first round and +344 in the second round. I'm not implying anything , i just thought this was interesting information
