Personally I don't think the "king" should be able to choose the same pattern every week.  Wes can't lose on the Scorpion, so make him change it up.  Or now that Wes threw a 300 he should, on his own, deicide to choose something different.  If he's as good as he and everyone thinks, he should be able to win on every pattern.

I do like the him though, he seems like a pretty easy going guy.

He's choosing Scorpion because he knows its his best chance to win and the king gets $10K a pop.  You are going to put yourself in the best environment to make the most money you can.  If he wins all of them that is $50K.  Let's keep that in perspective.

I don't want to catch a lot of c**p for this but I would like to see the "cats"
of the 3 shots in the 10th. I really thought he PULLED 1 and said see ya!

He yanked a few, so did Oneil.  Only difference was one of Oneil's went through the nose and Wes's held on a bit longer.  Obviously he chose Scorpion because of the amount of area he has on the pattern.  Couple that with the carry at Kegel and he's nearly impossible to beat.

Obviously he choses scorpion for that reason.  It's just getting a little "stale" after only 3 weeks.  Of course seeing a 300 on tv is always exciting.

Did anyone notice the REALLY shallow gutters in the deck as well as lively side and backboards??

I'm not saying that Wes wouldn't have shot a 300 without them...OK..that's really what I'm saying..lol..

I noticed that too.  On one of the shots they showed a close up of the deck and gutters and the gutters looked like they were a couple inches deep and made of bamboo lol.
