Bob Handley

I see that he's leading a senior event after the first day.  Just curious, does he still merit the nickname "Hookin' Bob?"  I remember back in the day, he used to rip the cover off the ball.

His other nickname was "The Stalker", due to the way he walked to the line.

Most of us sort of mellow with age and become more stroker than cranker or power stroker. Half of the reason is smarts; half is the body not being capable of what it used to be capable of doing.

LOL@CharlesT ... You're right about "The Stalker" moniker.  Looked like he was 'hunting' ... sneaking up on something.  His style looked like he had the ball resting on his forearm before delivery.  Darn near looked thumbless ...

Jim,

We've talked before. I am at least Handley's age, probably older.
Young whipper snapper!
(Don't ask me what a "whipper snapper" is. It sounded good when the old people said when I was young, around 1822 ... )
