i watched the first round of qualifying today and the following left an impression on me:

1) luck was on my side as walter ray williams, jr., and norm duke crossed together. what a treat to watch two of the all-time greats at the same time.

2)the recently changed viper pattern is tougher than the old one.

3)i'm very impressed with many of the ladies games. although jodi woessner didn't fare all that well she has great form and is rock solid at the foul line.

i saw you tennelle but i didn't want to bother you while you were competing----that's also the main reason i didn't say hello to jeff carter. tennelle, could you give us your thought on how the viper pattern played ?
