I know this is a little late, but did anyone else notice that Brad didn't have such a pause between his first and second step this week. I've heard many people say that pause has been one reason for his downfall on t.v and that he needed to try and eliminate it. Thoughts?

I noticed that as well. I dont think it relates to his problems on tv though. For him, it is a timing mechanism like the toe tap for hitters in baseball.
Sorry to get off subject. But, what I did like, was the fact that as soon as Simard threw the strike in the 8th, Brad knew he was done so he hurried the next two frames and got out of the way to set the stage for Simard. He is completely a class act and the PBA would benefit from more Brad Angelos.

I noticed that as well TWOHAND and applaud it as well... ive always felt brad angelo has been a very good sport on tv. admitting defeat gracefully and always showing respect towards his opponents.

I agree with that too. Truly a class act to get out of the way as fast as he could to let Simard have the full go of it. The guys on my team did the same thing when I was trying for a 300 a few weeks ago.
What he did spoke volumns, even losing.

Brad is quietly having a nice year. I thought the Swarm looked great on the lane, but for THAT GAME no one was going to beat Simmard.
I agree that it was a nice gesture to get out of the way and let Simmard bowl.

He's always had that pause in his approach, I thought it was funny how he waved the towell like the white flag of surrender after the strike in the 8th. He's definitely a class act.

The pause wasn't nearly as long, almost seemed like there wasn't one at all.

Yeah, and something else I noticed is that he doesn't have as much of a pause or twist his wrist at the top of his swing either. It's all in all a much more fluid motion. He's bowling really well this year.

Kept waiting for Mr. Angelo's pause and subconsciously screaming "hey, slow down!" Was good to see him win his first title a few weeks ago and make the show again last week. He seemed to be altering his release and speed a bunch over those two matches.
