My observation of WRW
« on: March 05, 2006, 04:54:23 AM »
It appeared he was locked in & may roll over Collins. He made a bad shot on the left lane in the 4th, then the next time on that lane apparently made an adjustment off an errant shot. Maybe he thought he made a good shot, but it looked a bit farther right & just couldn't recover with the oil & ball speed. He must have been fooled, otherwise I don't think he would have adjusted knowing he just missed right.

WRW has got to be the best or at least one of the top 3 best in history, I think his problem is mental the presure cooker of what he is trying to accomplish is killing him and he's trying to force it to happen maybe if he just let's it happen it will happen. I don't think that using two mfrs. equipment is helping much either. Morich during the week and Track on TV is serving him well.

That wasn't Morich on TV?

Also...I think Chris Collins bowled a 245...on the difficult Shark pattern!
Don't think Walter has quite that high an average on the Shark!

Fact of the matter...Chris Collins has a load of ball and a ton of talent. Facing him as a stroker on that pattern would scare a lot of bowlers!

He'll win again!

rEgards,

PS I could see him qualifying 1/2 as many times on TV as Chris Barnes on TV and ending up winning just as many titles over the next 5 to 10 years!  Just as much ball as Chris...no bump bump at the foul line!

Let's not forget that Williams was able to play outside all week on a Pattern that has never allowed anyone to play the lanes from out. He's Greatness Personified.
