« on: February 22, 2005, 04:30:41 AM »
Man how can u say that this guy chokes...when he is the fastest millionaire on tour,he is by far the most talented player in the world
I can bet my life on it that if the finals on tv were the same as match play (best of 7) chris barnes would have at least 5 more tittles
I dont like his attitude...i preffer dukes but i think he could be the roger federer of bowling..he has no faults on his game..his d game is strongest as his a...So...thats about it

Jonah,
The difference in Earl and WRW, and a Chris Barnes is that Earl and Walter have been bowling for decades while Chris has been on tour for only 6 maybe 7 years. Barnes is one of the best Technical bowlers ever if not the best but he struggles to make the big shots in key situations. I not talking about needing a strike and leaving a 10, that stuff happens everyday. I talking about missing spares in key situations like last seasons U.S. Open. Barnes missed a 3-6-10 to lose to Patrick Healey Jr. That wasn't even the first time he had done it. So for you to even put Barnes in the same breath as WRW or Earl is ridiculous

I met Chris Barnes and he's really cool. We discussed his change to Columbia while practicing at the Masters. I'm glad he's off the schnide. He's consistently one of the best. I'm not a huge fan, but he not worthy of baggin' on either.

Yes---when he goes mental. He's very good, when he wants to be very good. I still think hes going to win within the next 2 or 3 tournaments. I bet his focus is the best its been all season at the next tourney he bowls.
