Can Opener Barnes
« on: February 09, 2007, 01:32:22 AM »
Wow. Barnes opened a big can of "you go home now" on Doug Kent in the round of 32: 300-276-236-249 on what's generally considered the toughest of the five common PBA national patterns.  I'm not necessarily a big Barnes fan or Kent hater, just something of note from the round of 32 this week...

I was just going to post about that.  I think Kent gave up after the 2nd game with his horrible 167.  I don't respect his game at all.  He doesn't even deserve to be exempt.  I hope Barnes destroys this week.

I am not saying he doesn't put up scores.  I am saying he isn't consistent and doesn't have much variety in his game.  I always have seen him bring some super aggressive ball and throw it comparably slower than most other pros.  It is just my opinion.

You statement is flawed and you still don't understand that it is MY OPINION.  So next time when you watch any other sport, watch any movie, or do anything in life, just ask yourself that same question... 'so where you at in the NFL?', 'so you can shoot the basketball better?', 'you can make a better movie?', etc.

I am just stating my opinion guys!!!

Necromancer,
Doug owns two alleys in New York state. Why not contact him and challenge him to a match??Since you don't respect his game,I gather you can beat him.
Prove it.Man up and challenge him.Better yet, film it and post it here for all to see.
I'm NOT saying you can't bowl.Just because Kent had a bad match means nothing.Barnes bowled well,no doubt about that.
I'd still put my money on Doug against you..............

I don't make broad, sweeping negative statements about a professionals skill and talent though.

Your statements (aka your opinions) hint that you are indeed better than Kent, Machuga and Reyes.

Opinion of Necromancer = opinion of Tech Hokie = completely and totally irrelevant!

Doug Kent = 1000 times the bowler Necromancer will ever be.

What difference does it make how fast the ball goes down the lane?  Are you four years old?  So what if Kent doesn't have the revs of Smith or Jones?  He wins doesn't he?  And for sake of us all, please stop your incessant whining about Mika, and please tone down your obvious wanton lust for Barnes!

No. Apparently no one can give their opinion of any bowler on this website since they are all untouchable immortals.  If it was like this for other sports, there would be fights all around the stadium in all sporting events.  People would not argue why one team is better than the other.  They would argue like they do here and say, "you know so-and-so is better than you and you can't say anything!"  LOL!
