If you do not currently get it, will you sign up for it for the month of June ?
I think U-Verse gets an extra $12 or so per month (sports package).
-
I suggest signing up for it even if not just for the PBA. I've been watching a lot of the college bowling they air, and they show a lot of sports that don't get a whole lot of attention on ESPN or other "big" mainstream channels.
-
I already get it with DTV. I also like the alternative programming compared to the 4-letter channel.
-
Get it, ESPN is the fox news of sports reporting.
-
And CBS Sports is the CNN.
-
Guess I will have to try it out.
-
Does anyone know if its on Dish network??
-
Can you tell me what channel it is on Direct?
thanks

I was wondering the same thing...

To me this amounts to another disappointment from the PBA! I'm sure there are many good reasons for it .. I hope one is raising the prize funds for Pro Bowlers!

I get it on 613.

I am watching The Badger Open on CBS Sports TV. I am surprised to see Aaron Lorincz in the second game against Michael Haugen. What a meteoric rise for this young man who recently won (I think) the NCAA Singles Championship. The kid has gotten off to a rough start with splits in the 1st two frames.

Even with Randy Pederson and Dave Ryan ("60 feet to success!") it was a pretty good show. Full 2 hours with a full 30 minutes for each match.
The 52 feet shot was hard, but they broke it down in practice and needed pearls to insure they cleared the heads. Even Michael Haugen used a Marvel Pearl and an IQ Tour Pearl!! Many times, bowlers were shocked by the ball reaction with some solids & duller balls not holding the line at all.
-
I thought it was a pretty good show as well. Definitely a hard shot.

anyone know if this will be anywhere online? wanted to really watch it but i just have a local cable so i can't get the channel
-
I searched for a long long time to find a live stream of it.. Found plenty of Cricket and Darts.. But no Bowling.. Couldn't find a stream of the station either.. Found plenty of spots streaming ESPN, NBC Sports, and Fox Sports.. No love for CBS Sports Network..

For you young guys out there, this is what we use to call a fall back shot. Lesson to be learned, getting the ball into a roll is an effective way to carry even from deep inside. Most of us straighter guys have known for years that the best way for us to compete with the high rev kids is to get them on long oil.

I didn't link to the page on purpose.
