Going to a Regional for the First time this weekend. Never bowled one before what can I expect? I want to Benchmark my game and see where I have progressed to. As far as equipment I have a variety of Old and New school stuff that I am taking:
Storm Hot Rod
Storm Too Hot
Brunswick Vapor
Brunswick Contact zone
Ebonite The One
Blue Dot
Rotogrip RS1
Nothing there is drilled overly agressive and most are in OOB surface. This is the Chameleon Pattern from the USBC web site it looks like this pattern starts out and makes a fairly fast jump in. Anything you guys that have bowled regionals can tell me would be great. I am thinking of posting on here a blog of my experience from a non-member POV.
Thanks

don't try and be someone you're not----if straighter is your strength don't try and hook the whole lane. concentrate on your spares----they are very important. forget splits and bad breaks and move on. think in the now not the past or the future. good luck !
