Duke: Trifecta
Couch: The One
Looked like Ciccone was throwing a High Rev in the few practice moments, and PBIII with a Vapor Zone?

Big Rig Diesel...thats it for Ciccone.

I would like to know why parker didnt just jump on couches line from the previous match and just start swinging the lane.  I mean dang he had a few balls that just hit the pocket doa.

Because couch has a higher RPM rate.

EDIT:  And you should have heard Randy's entire discussion about how Parker has always had a higher speed than his rpm rate can handle and has been trying to work on that.

Joe C. really fell apart late in the game.  I really didn't see Couch pulling out a win until that first split.

I'm sure he's happy that his winless streak is over, but too bad he didn't 100% earn it.

Couch didn't deserve that win, it was given to him. I feel bad for Ciccone, he had a great shot all day long, and it just fell apart for him in the last few frames. Interesting show overall. It didn't really appear that anyone had a good feel or shot on that pattern today.

I think they're just saying that at the end of the game it wasn't a battle, Joe basically handed it over to Couch with the last couple frames.

I'd have to agree with the Last Post. Ciccone did hand the tournament to Couch. I'm sure Jason would say the same thing.

i can assure you that parker bohn III was not told to use the vapor zone by anyone at brunswick. pro staffers can use whatever ball they think will work for them. anyone remember the title match at the 1998 abc masters ? mike aulby beat parker bohn III for the title. mike aulby used a brunswick urethane ball in that match---do you think brunswick asked/made him throw that ball ?

if i was mike aulby or parker bohn III and had a great look with a particular ball i would use it regardless what anybody else wanted. after all, who's actually having to throw the ball----the player or the ball company ?

So are going to tell me that Brunswick doesn't push to have there staff throw there newest releases? All companies do it.

I'm probably just over reacting a little, i'm sure Parker probably threw that ball in matchplay and felt most most comfortable with it. But you know Rick was back there wanting him to throw it.

Would they like to have the newest release on the show yeah I am sure they would. However I am sure they would rather have their equipment win versus having having a staffer forced into a ball have a terrible ball reaction and have the ball look terrible. Allow the staffer to use in this case a Brunswick ball of their choice to perform well. Just my thought on it.

Why the sudden anti-brunswick sentiment Joe?
