Barnes, is one of the best. In the finals, bet on another horse and you likely will win. Call it choking, call it not performing as well as some think he should in the clutch. It is factual, not perceived. In the last seconds, down by 1, some players live for the moment, want and make the shot. Others do not. Barnes falls into the latter category, for sure. No one remembers the team that made it to the Superbowl.
Yesterday, Barnes made a bad call. Actually two. He changed balls and lines. He seemed to have a good look at the end of the semis with the momentum swing. Duke did move inside during warm up, but Duke struck with every ball that was shown on T.V. thrown inside during warm up, and then he moved back outside to win the match. Barnes had the inside all to himself. I would have liked to have seen him start where he left off and continue to move inside with his A game. I think we will see that from him in the future.
Necro, not to like Duke's game---not to like poetry in motion. How much power does it take to consistently put ten in the pit? Norm Duke has it figured out for sure.
We are the consuming public. We have a right to be critics, regardless to whether we are good bowlers. Talking about the game and the players is a good thing. For sure, Barnes, Duke(all in tears though he may be), Diaper Rash, WRW, help to keep the ratings up.
This is the only sport that I know of where fans get so sensitive when other fans criticize the players for not winning or not performing well.
