So why not a Urethane Ball event?

Is this a viable option for a PBA event?  With the PBA looking to make televised bowling more interesting, and already having a plastic ball event, how would a urethane ball event pan out?

Never thought of it until I saw Storm's new piece; the Natural.  

Any opinions?

If they lay down the Cheetah, or any other pattern with lower volume, what's the point. The players will drill the equipment accordingly, alter the surface and score anyway.

have the PTQ all urethane as well, then watch Ballard and Voss stomp everyone(and give a commish exemption to McDowell, hell come 3rd!!) Id love to see it, even have it in a 'real' bowling centre and get the guys some LaMode shirts
