What kind of pattern was this tournament held on? House? Even if it was, averaging 260+ on anything is ridiculous...

Found a video of Pepe online...man he gets it off his hand great.  The X Factor in this is going to be the Plastic and the pattern.  Man he rolls it good though.

I'm not positive that this is correct, but I have a pretty reliable source.  The information was posted on the PBA forums by Mike Jakubowski (Mike J. Laneside).  So as far as I know, the challenger has the choice of using plastic on the "plastic shark pattern" or using regular equipment on the regular shark pattern.

quote:
They may not be bowling with plastic. Using the equipment used for the tournament is not mandatory. As the challenger, Pepe has the choice of bowling on Shark with "regular" equipment or bowling on what's being called the "Plastic Shark Pattern" with plastic.

I was just clarifying that the article on my website was "to the best of my knowledge."  I just wanted to let you know where my information came from in case I did happen to be wrong (which probably happens fairly often).

I bowled in that tournament last summer. That was his 3rd A2Z win last summer alone.
