in the first 10 years of his career 9 titles, 58 tv appearances, 1.35 million in earnings in 215 events

In WRW Jr. first 10 years 5 titles, 33 tv appearances, 700,740 in earnings in 264 events

in Norm Duke's first 10 years 1 title, 21 tv appearances, 463,228 in earnings in 245 events

In PDW's first 10 years 11 titles, 43 tv appearances, 871,594 in earnings in 249 events

Has he had problems on TV, Some, Has he had a better career than the 'greats' through the first 10 years YES.

The Only Bowler that Rivals Barnes in the first 10 years is Pete and had his demons not gotten him he may have doubled what Barnes has done Thus far

Lets not compare apples and oranges now! The format was different then, fields were bigger, prizes were smaller. And if I'm not mistaken all 3 of the greats you compared to joined the tour at a much younger age.

Here are some better comparisons for yah, that are from the same era -

Patrick Allen - 9 years - 10 titles - 27 finals - $988,492 earned - 163 events

Mika K. - 9 years - 8 titles - 25 finals - $943,585 earned - 174 events

Tommy Jones - 8 years - 11 titles - 18 finals -  $910,675 earned - 146 events

And all the above have Player of the Year awards to their credit.

Why does so many people say things like this, as if Weber were not responsible for his behavior and his actions? He and only he did the things he did. No one else did them; therefore no one else is to blame. There are no "demons" to blame. There is only Peter Weber to blame and it is ALL his fault.

Sorry Charlest, I thought Demons would be a better way to put his problems, never once did I defend his problems but the fact remains that Pete's Drug and Alcohol problems cost him titles and money on tour.
