IMO...Ronnie needed to quiet down....seems like Joe doesn't need added pressure.

Yeah I love how he said "this is the shot of your life" followed by when he left 2 pins with "come on make this" while he was in motion. LOL. Worst doubles partner of all time?  Survey says YES!

Well I was thinking Micheal was going to screw things up with those opens and he caught the lucky break with Joe missing the spare. Just a lot of pressure for the first time title and it all being on his shoulders. If he bowls like he did today more often, he won't have a problem winning.

Well that was exciting, but some of us could have guessed it would happen.  A certain "Pimp" needs to know this:

Yeah I knew the outcome from that idiot below but I thought it would end it extra frames.  Then I was thinking by the clock that there was no way he would miss.  Then I was like maybe he chopped it.  When I saw he missed it entirely and wasn't even close I was like wtf! LOL

IMO, learn to use words correctly.

also IMO, you should try bowling on the most watched sports network and not missing a spare in a pressure situation. your posts keep getting more and more ridiculous.

there the ones on the pba not me its not my fault they missed a spare. its different if you hit the pocket and leave a split that happens but leaveing a completely makeable spare and wiffing by like 3 boards, not so much.

Really? Worst doubles partner of all time? Really?

Joe (sad to say it) let that whole match get away from him. He had the look in the semi final match and looked lost in his frames in the final. How Ronnie can be the worst partner when his frame count as much as his partners in order to give them a shot at the title is beyond me.

What's wrong with Ronnie saying the truth which is the fact that it was the shot  of life at that moment? A chance to win your first title, your partner's first title, and an exemption for the two of you next season.

In the end, when it's time to deliver the goods, the result is not because of what someone said, it's all on you. He missed the spare, he dropped the ball, not Ronnie. Pressure is mental, and for those who come on here and judge people because they made a statement need to think about anytime they may have screwed up in their lives. Do you blame someone else for your mistake? When the ball is in your hand and you miss a spare, is it your teammate's fault?

Some players need the rah rah in the background some don't need it or want it....to me I don't think Joe C. is that type of player. I think it effected both shots in a clutch situation and it didn't just happen once but 2 times in a row.

Agree I have been watching Joe off and on throughout his career.  He gets nervous way too easily.  You could see it today when his partner said it was the shot of his life.  He put his fingers in the ball, took it out, adjusted his index finger, put his fingers back in, was all shaking all over the place.  He was a train wreck waiting to happen before he even attempted the first ball.  By the time the spare needed to be made, he was probably sweating bullets through his whole body.

The real question is who will win another (first) title first: Barnes or Ciccone?

I just re-watched the final moments of the match. And what an awkward position Danny and Michael had to be in. Mike must've been getting his apology speech ready for Danny for his open late in the game. Danny sitting there thinking of what could've been.

Joe leaves an 8 count when he needed 9 spare to win. A mid lane spare. Danny and Mike getting ready for extra frames and hopefully a second chance to seal the deal. Joe laughs at the fact the he let the ball get away from him, almost in a "wow, it's okay, I got this" kind of way. Ronnie has to be thinking, "there's no way he misses this" Joe takes a decent amount of time to get up for the spare shot, and then outright missed both pins.

Mike's look was of complete shock, Danny buries his head in hands. You can almost see the explosion in Ronnie's eyes before he gets up to shake hands, and Joe just there in the moment with the contemplating look of "did that really just happen?" Almost looked like he didn't want to turn around and address his partner, and if I were in that situation, I would have reservations about doing so too.

Unbelievable to say the least.

IMO, it might as well be. It has a good ring to it anyway. LOL!!!!

I make it a point to watch the show when Barnes is going to be on. I find it quite humorous and amusing when he chokes like he typically does!
