I watched the last two, good times!
Johnny Petraglia always regretted leaving those 2 pins on his 298 game, till he threw a 300 on TV in the 1994 PBA National against WRW Jr.

The show with Jim Stefanich, when he shot 300, was odd because they were bowling on lanes 28 and 29.

During the practice time for the 1974 Midas Open there was a mechanical problem with the pinsetter on lane 30 and it couldn't be repaired in time as it was a live telecast so PBA Tournament Director Harry Golden decided to have the players bowl on lanes 28 and 29 as the ABC-TV crew could cover that amount of area with their cameras. The fact that the players go no practice shots on lane 28 and one of them still shot a 300 game is quite an accomplishment.
