I was disappointed with the show period!
The lanes were sucky. The bowlers boring.
The bowlers were throwing non-agressive balls. This
is crazy for a Chameleon.
And, I think this whole WSOB is stupid. They
bowl the qualifying rounds in a newer, less
friction house. Then, they move to that
bey and way too much friction. This is nutz.
What other sport would do this? Does the British
Open switch Golf courses from the Qualifying round
to the Final round. How about NASCAR? Does NASCAR
do the qualifying days on a different track than on
race day? And, I could go on.
And, If I were the ball manufacturers I would be
very disappointed in the PBA. With the bey having
so much more friction, you do not see the bowlers
using and scoring well with their high performance
bowling balls. The last two tournaments have been
won with urethane it is like the sport is going
backwards to the 80's.
I do not like the direction the PBA is going in.
And, since I am in a bad mood over this nonsense,
I am very disappointed in the USBC magazine I just
received in the mail.
If we want bowling to become a big time sport, then
we do not need a cigar ad in that magazine (pg. 14).
Does Sports Illustrated have smoking ads in their
magazine? And, the jewelry ads are chincy makes
this magazine look like a tabloid magazine, not a
magazine for the sport of bowling.
