After the win. Randy asked Dick how he felt when Barnes had the back to back 7-10s and he said "Honestly, I loved it and I took advantage. Thats what a professional does" (not exact quotes but close from what I remembered).

If you think that these guys....who are bowling for a LIVING....feel bad whenever an opponent (who stands in the way of said paycheck) gets a bad break...you're just stupid.  Ritchie said what every other pro thinks when that happens....and people seem shocked by it.

If you think Norm Duke wasn't happy Mika flagged the 10 pin at the US Open I have some high and dry property in South Florida to sell you.

Norm probably ran out to the parking lot and danced (i.e. like Wesley Snipes in Major League after he learned he wasn't cut and made the team)

actually I had no issue with what Dick said I was kind of refreshing to have someone say what exactly was on there mind.  I hope to see more of the Dick on future PBA shows. I really liked the wrong foot shot at the end of the first match!  Too funny...

Why do you worry what the PBA pays?  Do you have a good job?  Then what does it matter what the pros earn?  Do you think you're little $20 ducat at the site of a tourney is going to keep the PBA afloat?

BTW, everybody knows what a bowling ball looks like, don't bother posting pics of yours.  I think it's pretty immature.

I thought it was pretty immature and this is why the PBA has the image it does and soon i believe the PBA will go under if it doesnt change its marketing structure. Professional Bullriders make more than proffesional bowlers. Its all about sponsorship and whomever the PBA has doing their marketing is doing a pretty poor job.

Also the decision to stay in Vegas for weeks and not travel around will dis-interest alot of people with the PBA. I always, always looked forward to going and seeing the pro's when they came to town. Now they dont even travel. They money on tour is pitiful and only a handful can actually survive. Plus the TV coverage is really boring, id rather watch golf.

I, too, liked what Allen said about being glad to see his opponent go 7-10 split two frames in a row.  Refreshingly honest.

I did miss what Allen did on his last ball of the first match of the finals.  What did he do?  Did he deliver his last ball on the right lane from the left approach?  If he did that, I would want to smash his teeth in with my bowling ball.  What exactly did he do?

Apparently there was some sort of gentlemen's bet about throwing a ball off the wrong foot on TV if the game was out of hand.  He made good on his part by throwing it off of his right foot on the fill ball...apparently Barnes was in on the joke.

Thank you, Russell.  Glad to know they were both in on it and that is exactly the type of comraderie and joking among members on television that the PBA needs.  I liked the atmosphere of the finals with the horns, made it seem like a true event.  People on here gotta lighten up a bit.

Trust me. I'm not annoyed at Dick....er Ritchie Allen or whatever name he wants to go by now for doing that. Hell, I'm all for a little bit of fun. It's just that hearing about it 787 times since I happen to bowl that way gets a little old. You know what I mean?

And Hosel, from watching the webcast I see that some things remain the same.

I am way to sunny of a person to call you immature.  I think your own words pointed that out.  But it sure was super nice of you to remove those pictures.  Thanks a bunch!

Well, that's a really keen and neat-o thought, but it was said that he and his wife had a baby and when they learned she was pregnant he decided it was time to grow up and be known by a more "adult" name.  I like Ritchie, it reminds me of Happy Days.

Something I think a lot of you are forgetting,is that " Richie" switched his name to "Dick" probably to honor the great Dick Weber, which the tournament was named for. The Dick Weber PBA championships.
